Sohaib Nazeer Sultan has been a student of the Islamic tradition since childhood and has had the opportunity to study with well-known Muslim scholars in the East and West.
The ILDC Leadership Initiative, now known as the ILDC Chaplaincy & Community Organizing Initiative, was created in 2007 to enhance the role of leaders in revitalizing ILDC communities. The initiative develops, coordinates and implements strategies to support the ILDC network's core value of community-led leadership development.
The Initiative works to support Chaplaincy and community organizing strategies, strengthen Muslim leadership development, and build the capacity of local leaders and associations in local organizations. read more
Community Partnerships Chaplaincy provides a window into how individuals, families, religions and communities view themselves, their situation and others.
Organizers Chaplaincy and community organizing are central to the ILDC network. They include a range of ongoing activities that strengthen individual/family and community assets, including physical, social, organizational and spiritual assets.
